The biggest European pet exhibition ”InterZoo 2006” took place May 11th to 14th in Nuremberg, Germany. At Back to Nature´s stand you could see a huge (appr. 1500 litres) Malawi aquarium with some BTN modules and backgrounds.
Mr. Stuart Grant himself (a legendary exporter of Malawi Cichlids) was excited about the beautiful Malawi aquarium with many colourful Aulonocara stuartgranti from Cobwe.

You almost got the impression that you were diving in Lake Malawi
There were several other tanks in the Back to Nature stand
A Back to Nature Amazonas background placed in an 840 litres aquarium.
In this aquarium there are several beautiful fishes - for example a group with wild caught Pterophyllum scalare….
…. as well as some Geophagus sp. “araguaia orange head”…
…and a big shoal with Corydoras gossei.
Back to Nature also presented a completely new background system for aquariums and terrariums called “Slimline”. You can see this new background behind Mr. Joel Malmström (to the left) and Mr. Hellmut Miller - Mr. Malmström is the inventor of the Back to Nature backgrounds and Mr. Miller is the Back to Nature distributor in Germany.
In this Black Molly aquarium a Slimline background is installed. This background is only approx. 10 mm thick and comes in two colours. It is available in several sizes that interlock. This means that they can be installed easily and quickly in nearly any tank.
In this “Television aquarium“ with some shrimps (Neocardina sp. “crystal red”) a Slimline-background is installed as well. The best of all is that this background is inexpensive, despite being produced to the same superior quality as all other Back to Nature backgrounds. This means the colour will be preserved and the background will keep it’s lustre, even after years of use.
The Slimline system will be available for delivery in Autumn 2006 through out the world and Back to Nature are now looking for more distributors for this new product in addition to the rest of our range of backgrounds (Please note: We only sell via wholesalers.)
