All Rock - backgrounds are cliff backgrounds which are perfect imitations of an actual rock in nature. The design usually originates from the fishes' natural biotopes.
MALAWI
In Lake Malawi in Africa you will find the beautiful Malawi cichlids, a group of fishes which are extremely colourful and have thus become very popular within the aquarium hobby. The natural biotopes for these fishes are normally huge rocks. Although the design for this background comes from Lake Malawi, this background may also be used well in other types of aquarium environments.
Malawi should be installed in aquariums with a minimum depth of 40 cm (45-50 cm or more is preferable).

TANGANYIKA
Just North of Lake Malawi in Africa lies another enormous lake, Lake Tanganyika. This lake is the natural biotope for the Tanganyika cichlids and these fishes have become very popular over the years due to their graceful shapes and interesting behaviour. The natural biotopes for these fishes are normally very large rocks. Although the design comes from Lake Tanganyika, this background may also be used well in other types of aquarium environments.
Tanganyika should be installed in aquariums with a minimum depth of 40 cm (45-50 cm or more is preferable).

ROCKY
Rocky is an attractive cliff background, and is somewhat flatter than the Tanganyika and Malawi series, making it suitable for slightly smaller aquariums.
The 80-160 cm Rocky models should be installed in aquariums with a minimum depth of 35 cm (40-50 cm or more is preferable).
The 60-cm Rocky should be installed in aquariums with a minimum depth of 20 cm (25 cm or more is preferable).

Rocky Juwel is a "flatter" background which perfectly fits into modern aquarium furniture which is not as deep (for example Juwel). In spite of these backgrounds' relative flatness and their reduced need for space in the aquarium, there is still enough space in one corner for both the filter and the heater. This background is supplied in two sections, simplifying installation.
Rocky Juwel should be installed in aquariums with a minimum depth of 25 cm (30-40 cm or more is preferable).
